Located on the Alice Springs Telegraph Station Historical Reserve. the trailhead is a simple shelter (see image on left) with basic information about the trail. It is located approx 200m north west from the actual Telegraph Station and just off the main bitumen access road. Public toilets, water taps, kiosk and other facilities are located at the main Telegraph Station area ( called Historic Precinct). No camping facilities or other overnight options. |

Getting to Alice Springs Telegraph Station Trailhead |

Access to Alice Springs Telegraph Station from Alice Springs CBD is approx 4km north via the North Stuart Highway and the Herbert Heritage Drive. If you decide to walk to the Telegraph Station from Alice Springs, one option is to do the Riverside Walk. This walk basically follows the Todd River from town to the Telegraph Station. |
