Standley Chasm Trailhead is located at the main ANGKERLE Standley Chasm visitor area which includes a cozy kiosk with a large fireplace and with toilets, showers and grassy campsites located nearby. The actual chasm is located a short walk to the north of this area. Standley Chasm is a community enterprise. It is a very good start or finish point because of its easy access and facilities.

ANGKERLE Standley Chasm is about 50km west of Alice Springs and can be accessed by 2WD via the sealed Larapinta Drive. This is private property operated by Angkerle Aboriginal Corporation. Gates are open between 8am – 5pm. You can leave your vehicle here but you may need to pay a fee to do so. There is a fee for access to the Chasm itself, included in Camp fees.
