These walk options are ideal for quick weekend trips or for those who have only a short time available to walk the trail. Like with all other sections and walk options, drop off and pick ups at the start and finish points are the key consideration. |

A spectacular walk traversing over some of the best sections along the Larapinta Trail. This overnight option encompasses Section 4 & 5 starting at Standley Chasm and finishing at Hugh Gorge. The scenery along this walk is spectacular. Access to Hugh Gorge is by high clearance 4WD only. |

This walk takes you along the Heavitree Range starting at Serpentine Gorge and finishing at Ormiston Gorge. The trail winds through valleys, narrow gorges and the tops of mountains and is visually spectacular. Easy access to start and finish points. Encompasses Section 8 & 9. |

Steep climbs, clambering over rocky gorges and spectacular views are some of the highlights of this walk. Take the Alternative High Route from Miller Flat and return via Tangentyere Junction along the low route. Start and finish at Standley Chasm. Easy vehicle access. |

A nice walk to Redbank Gorge from the Finke River Trailhead (S10/11). Mount Sonder in the distance provides the inspiration as you walk along this section. Great views of Mount Sonder and the surrounding country side. Glen Helen Resort makes a good start point.( add extra 3.5km) |
