Starting at the S3/4 trailhead at Standley Chasm this excellent but very hard day walk takes you to Brinkley Bluff and back. The scenery along this walk is some of the best on the trail. Start early in the morning. Start and finish at Standley Chasm. |

This is a popular day walk for locals and visitors alike because of its easy access, spectacular 360 views and straight forward up and down mountain walk. Note that this is the entire Section 12 walk and one of the most enjoyable of the Larapinta Trail. |

The views at Counts Point is one of the most spectacular on the Larapinta Trail, and definitely the highlight of S8. This day walk is almost all on high ground offering 360 views of the surrounding area. Start and finish at Serpentine Gorge trailhead. Easy vehicle access. |
