Extended Walk Options provide excellent options for those who have between 7-10 days to experience the best of the Larapinta Trail. Most of these options include 6-10 sections and involve fairly intense walking with little rest in between the sections. The Extended Walk Options are excellent substitutes for the End to End (223km) walk option, particularly for those walkers who would like to walk the full length of the trail, but don't have the time to do so.

The Ten Section Sprint or the ‘Sprint’ is a couple of sections short of the full length of the trail. The ‘Sprint’ is ideal for those who have 10 days to spend on the trail. Starting from Jay Creek (S3) and finishing at Mount Sonder (S12) the Sprint includes all the best sections such as S4, S5, and S12 as well as other great sections such as S3, S8 and S9. Prepare to stretch your legs on this one.
